Help! We're buried in airline complaints!

FRIDAY FORUM: It looks like 2022 was a record for airline complaints. But is all this complaining doing any good?

The Department of Transportation this week declined to release the number of airline complaints it received in 2022 because it’s still busy counting them. According to published reports, consumer complaints have quadrupled since 2019 (and December's numbers are still missing).

Do we really need to see the final numbers to know that we're buried in airline complaints — or that the problem is getting worse?
