Loyalty programs love to take away your miles. But you can get them back.

Warning: Your points and miles might be about to expire. 

They did for Sandeep Singh, who withdrew 250,000 Avios points for a ticket on Ibera a few years ago. His airline canceled because of COVID, he rebooked and canceled again — and then the points went "poof!"
