When Christopher Searle booked airline tickets for himself and three family members, he typed "Chris" instead of "Christopher" for himself. Six months later, Booking.com was still holding on to $2,298 for his mistake.

Here’s a friendly reminder for anyone flying this summer: Your ticket name must match your ID or your airline might deny you boarding. Searle was about to learn that the hard way.
