Before you volunteer to give up your seat on an overbooked flight, listen to what happened to Kenneth Bryant.
Back in April, Bryant had a ticket to fly from Syracuse to Orlando on Frontier Airlines. The flight was oversold and a Frontier representative asked for volunteers.
"The gate agent told me that I would receive a $1,000 travel voucher," he says.
