Candace Smith was supposed to fly from Munich to Washington, D.C., on Lufthansa last summer. But a flight disruption forced her to spend an extra night in Munich and rebook her flight on another airline.
The airline promised to reimburse her hotel room and refund her tickets, a total of $2,277. Then, after asking for her bank account information, it ignored her.
"To date, I still have not received any money, and they have stopped responding to my inquiries," says Smith.
