Congress adds new airline consumer protections — but are they enough?

Maybe there's something in the sprawling FAA Reauthorization bill for you. Then again, maybe not.

Is this enough? 

That's the question many airline passengers are asking after the U.S. Senate yesterday passed the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act. 

The law represents a rare opportunity to fix what's wrong with U.S. airlines. And it delivered a few new consumer protections.

But could it have done more?
