Airlines are asking Washington to slash consumer regulations — and this time, they may get their way.

In recent filing with the Department of Transportation (DOT), Airlines for America (A4A) — representing the largest U.S. carriers — argues that recent rules on refunds, fee transparency, and accessibility “unlawfully” burden the industry and should be repealed immediately.
